Obviously I am concentrating intensely on ABC radio reports as it directly effects me . Hopefully the Goulburn and Broken have peeked . But did I hear last night on the radio that they had turned off the North/South pipe line . Obviously it is not needed .

Goulburn River is expected to peak at 11.3 metres , Tuesday 7 September 2010. The Goulburn River is at 9.65 meters at 12noon Monday and is expected to affect a small number of houses once ...it reaches 11.1 meters. .

The Broken River is at 7.65 metres at 12.14pm Monday and is expected to peak at 8.2 metres. A Municipal Emergency Coordination Centre (MECC) is now operational at the Council office. The MECC is responsible for resource and agency coordination.

We went to a meeting on Monday night . The worst we can expect is water over the road . Archer St between Shepparton and Kialla is closed . The only way between Shepparton and Kialla is via the hwy. Google map them if you need .

Looks like we should all be o.k.

I will give a more personal flood up date later . Kialla and Shepparton are yet to experience the apex of the flooding , but it will happen in the next 24 hours . At this stage I think the worst flooding we will experience will be isolation . I am 2 km from the Broken and 5 km from the Goulburn . But we have storm water drains for the water to come up . The worst part of Kialla for flooding is Union rd 10-15 km from Shepparton
